Welcome to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Utah State University. Civil and Environmental Engineering is one of the most critical disciplines for providing solutions for an ever changing society.
Civil and Environmental Engineers design the roads and bridges we drive on, the foundations and buildings that we work in and ensure thatwe have the clean air and water that we need. The products of Civil and Environmental Engineers are everywhere and will become even more essential as our population continues to grow.
The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Utah State University has a world renown program. The department offers degrees at the BS, MS and PhD levels with opportunities with coursework and research in:

Our faculty are actively engaged in providing outstanding educational experiences both in the classroom as well as through critical and exciting research. The department provides students with unique experiences through the Utah Water Research Lab, Systems Materials and Structural Health (SMASH) and TIMELab.
