Hydrology Requirements

CEE graduate students pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Hydrology and Water Resources are required to take the following core courses:

  • CEE6400 Physical Hydrology

  • CEE6430 Groundwater Engineering

  • CEE6660 Environmental and Hydrologic Data Analysis and Experimentation

  • CEE6490 Integrated River Basin/Watershed Planning and Management

Note that with approval from the graduate committee, required courses can be waived if the student has successfully completed an equivalent course at Utah State University or elsewhere.
